This course provides an integrated education for the Doctor of Chiropractic in the science and art of chiropractic adjustive techniques for spine/postural abnormalities, and spinal biomechanics/disorders. State of the art knowledge related to spine stability, joint injury, neurological disorders, examination procedures with differential diagnosis will be presented from an evidence-based outcome measure for clinical chiropractic. Spine deformities and adjustive technique corrective care as it relates to human health and disorders will be presented along with clinical guidance relative to these conditions. Contemporary information including examination procedures and differential diagnosis for spine and abnormal spinal posture biomechanics will be presented with detailed information on principles of practice and evidenced based outcomes for adjusting technique with the clinical goal for improvement of abnormalities. Spine correction and how that improves patient relevant evidenced-based outcomes of spinal disorders. Analysis of spine/posture deformities and their biological effects and appropriate adjustive and chiropractic adjustive treatment techniques will be reviewed.
