Course overview

This in depth course equips massage therapists with the knowledge and skills to evaluate postural alignment as a critical component of client assessment and treatment planning. Through a combination of lecture, demonstration, and guided practice, participants will explore the structural, anatomical, and functional factors that influence posture, including muscular imbalances, aging, pathology, and occupational stressors. The course will also cover how to document findings, establish a baseline, and monitor progress over time. Advanced soft tissue strategies will be demonstrated to show how targeted massage techniques can release restrictive patterns, restore balance, and improve postural integrity. This course is designed for massage therapists who want to integrate postural assessment into their clinical practice to support long-term functional outcomes.
