Course overview

This webinar will discus essential clinical-pathologic correlations and differential diagnoses needed for adequate triaging of ophthalmic cytologic specimens. We show the approach to handling of these specimen as this is key for a successful interpretation. The most common infectious and neoplastic diseases and their particular triaging to reach appropriate diagnosis will be presented. The combination of cytology, special stains and molecular is required in the cytologic handling of many ocular diseases and through case presentation we exemplify each of these scenarios.
