Thyroid FNA - The Utility of ROSE

As the field of cytopathology evolves and healthcare is continuously met with financial and staffing challenges, evaluation of current practices is important. Thyroid Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) is integral in the management of thyroid nodules. Rapid on-site evaluation (ROSE) has been shown to decrease the number of nondiagnostic specimens but may not be necessary for all nodules. This webinar will provide a review of variable ROSE procedures with published data in the literature. The differing cytologic preparations will also be discussed. Target Audience This educational activity is designed for pathologists, cytopathologists, cytotechnologists, students and other members of the cytopathology community.
