The International Labour Organization estimates that more than 20 million individuals from across the world, including the United States, are victimized by human trafficking. However, human trafficking awareness is still very limited. This course is designed to provide health care professionals with valuable insight into human trafficking in order to build awareness and establish an understanding of the services required by patients victimized by human trafficking.
