Understanding Sexual Behaviors in Adolescents

Course overview
Sexual behaviors often cause distress for caregivers, especially social services and foster care professionals. Problematic sexual behaviors (PSB) may cause adolescents to be treated punitively, labeled as perpetrators, and may put placements at risk. This course describes normal versus problematic sexual behaviors, guidance from clinical evidence on how to supervise and treat these behaviors, and strategies to support caregivers of adolescents.
