Course overview

The SI joint is the body part many avoid or ignore. As many as 30% of people presenting with complaints of low back pain have a Sacroiliac Joint (SIJ) component. Clinically the SIJ can be challenging, confusing and as a source of pain, it has been controversial. This course will simplify the vast array of assessment options for pain location and pattern, patient posture/movements and clusters of manual provocation tests to clarify a working diagnosis. Through lecture, video demonstration and case study come away with a simple and efficient way to evaluate this region and help improve everyday function for what can be an elusive condition.
