Course overview
A large barrier to a rehabilitative session is a patient's anxiety. An anxious patient can prevent new learning and prevent the patient from fully engaging in session tasks. Session time is wasted if a patient's anxiety is not managed. This course will illuminate techniques to expertly manage a rehabilitation patient's anxiety to achieve productive rehabilitation sessions. In addition, this course will provide evidence based strategies that the patient can incorporate to effectively manage their anxiety and ensure long term outcomes.
