The Well of Grief, Grieving Well . . . Supporting Bereaved Children and Teens

Course overview

In today's world, children are exposed to a variety of media that expose them to images of grief, loss, and trauma. Research suggests many professionals are uncomfortable or inadequately trained in how to support bereaved children and teens. This workshop will address how to understand bereaved children due to their developmental age, environment, and level of support, including factors that influence response to loss and techniques to support bereaved children and teens.
