Course overview

Upon completion of this activity, pharmacists will be able to: Discuss the recent changes of the 2026 Legislative Session and its effect on the profession of pharmacy; Define the 4 ethical principles of beneficence, non-maleficence, autonomy, and justice; Identify recent changes to the Florida statutes affecting the practice of pharmacy and the rule provisions being amended by the Board of Pharmacy to implement those changes; Review E-FORCSE s purpose, background, and content; Identify where a PDM finds the rules and regulations governing the practice of pharmacy; Prepare FSEDs for DOH inspections; Discuss the regulatory framework that governs sterile compounding; Describe the life cycle of a Department of Health/Board of Pharmacy investigation from complaint intake through probable cause review, administrative processes, board action, and remedies;
