Florida Laws and Rules 3 CE Hours This course reviews the laws and rules governing the practice of massage therapy in the state of Florida. Participants will learn about scope of practice, professional responsibilities, sanitation and safety requirements, proper documentation, license renewal regulations, and disciplinary guidelines established by the Florida Board of Massage Therapy. The course is designed to help massage therapists maintain compliance uphold professional standards, and better understand the legal responsibilities required in daily practice. Human Trafficking Awareness and Prevention 2 CE Hours This course provides education on recognizing, preventing, and responding to human trafficking within the healthcare and massage therapy profession. Participants will learn to identify common warning signs, understand reporting procedures and legal obligations, and develop awareness of victim centered communication and safety practices. The course emphasizes the important role massage therapists play in protecting vulnerable individuals and promoting ethical and professional conduct within the community. Professional Ethics 3 CE Hours This course focuses on ethical principles and professional conduct in massage therapy practice. Topics include therapist client boundaries, confidentiality, informed consent, communication, professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and ethical decision making in clinical settings. Participants will strengthen their understanding of maintaining integrity, respect, and accountability while providing safe, ethical, and client centered care.
