This presentation will introduce participants to The Diamond Approach (Connie & Froerer, 2022) of Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. The presenter will guide participants through each essential component of conducting a session using this approach: Establishing a desired outcome/transformation Developing a co-constructed description of the desired transformation, incorporating details from the client's history, resources, and preferred future Closing sessions in ways that are meaningful and honor the client"s autonomy and agency Participants will watch recordings of actual therapy sessions and engage in in-depth discussions about the practical application of this approach. You will come to understand the transformative value of seeing people as the best versions of themselves and will leave better equipped to treat them accordingly.
