Course overview

This Class Satisfies the DEA MATE ACT Requirement. The MATE Act requires increased training for Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) - registered physicians and practitioners - specifically, a one-time eight-hour training requirement on treating and managing patients with opioid or other substance use disorders. Renewing DEA Registrants will need to satisfy with upcoming renewals. This program can be attended as either a live webinar OR Attend at our School. Two Hour in Prescription Opioid Drugs Issues relating to dental management of acute oral/dental pain (not chronic orofacial pain) and responsible prescribing practices Treating and managing patients with opioid or other substance use disorders, including the appropriate clinical use of all drugs approved by the Food and Drug Administration for the treatment of a substance use disorder.
