Course overview
In this Practical, you'll learn how to manage plantar heel pain using a patient-centred, evidence-informed approach. The core treatments recommended for plantar heel pain are covered, including education, load management, footwear advice, taping, and stretching, as well as when to incorporate adjunct interventions such as exercise, orthoses, and manual therapy. Clinicians will also learn how to tailor treatment decisions to individual patient presentations, preferences, and goals, and understand when more advanced options such as shockwave therapy, injections, or surgery may be appropriate.
