Gait: Clinical Observation and Orthotic Intervention - PART 2
Tracking # 20-1383827
Course overview
Choosing the right AFO for a patient shouldn't come down to trial and error - but for many clinicians, it still does. In this 16-hour on-demand course, Dr. Kyra Kane, BScPT, MSc, PhD, builds on Part 1 to take you deep into individualized AFO prescription, goal setting, and evaluation: how orthoses influence gait biomechanics, how to tune the AFO-footwear combination for each patient, and how to use clinical assessment findings to make defensible, evidence-informed prescription decisions. Primarily pediatric in focus, with application to adult populations. Note: Part 1 is a prerequisite.
