Currently, clinical research is abundant in this field, with new diagnostic, treatment, and prevention modalities being studied. Nurses must be aware of what Alzheimer's disease is, its risk factors, signs and symptoms, diagnostic tools, treatments, and nursing implications. After this course, nurses should be up to date on new research findings and evidence-based care practices to promote improved outcomes.
