Course overview
40 hours of training are required to be a certified supervisor. 16 hours of the course will be a self-paced pre-course workbook that will be emailed prior to the workshop. The Supervisor Certification course includes 12 hours of ethics and 6 hours of Cultural Competence. This workshop includes a Resource Book. Both the pre-coursework and the active seminar meet the requirements of the Texas State Board of Social Work Examiners/Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council to become a Board-Certified Supervisor.
