Course overview

To provide the Doctor of Chiropractic with an integrated education in science, and principles of practice for chiropractic with defined structured clinical models for chiropractic assessment and clinical treatment methods as well as evidenced based outcomes in the science of chiropractic. Review of the neurophysiology system dysfunction verses adaptation mechanisms and their relationship to the disease processes verses intrinsic wellness health architecture. Discussion of Chiropractic principles; vitalism, holism, naturalism, humanism, conservatism, and rationalism as per the 33 Principles of Chiropractic. In addition, physiology includes and not limited to the triad of health and how it impacts nervous system integrity; clinical indicators and neurological patterns distortion. Clinical documentation and clinical outcome assessment applications as applied to the regulated standards of care including and not limited to ethical billing, and risk management, coding and patient care management.
