Course overview

This course covers evidence-based personal care techniques for dependent patients including bathing, oral hygiene, perineal care, CAUTI prevention, skin integrity assessment using the Braden Scale, and pressure injury prevention through positioning and turning schedules. Upon completion, participants will apply safe hygiene practices that reduce infection risk, preserve patient dignity, and incorporate cultural sensitivity and patient preferences into personal care delivery
