This presentation offers a trauma-informed, research-based introduction to Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET), a structured intervention that helps clients integrate traumatic memories into a coherent life story. Designed for clinicians working with survivors of complex trauma, the session explores NETs five phases safety and stabilization, lifeline mapping, narrative exposure, editing the story, and closing rituals. Participants will learn how to implement NET in both in-person and telehealth settings, with special attention to clinical readiness, emotional pacing, and therapeutic presence. Empirical support, clinical application, and limitations will be discussed.
