Senior and Hospice Care: New Love for Old Pets

Course overview

This is a one-day live, virtual workshop dedicated to navigating the unique and nuanced challenges of senior and end-of-life care. With the help of two certified hospice care experts, we'll adapt pain management plans for senior pets, including those with co-morbidities. Talk through medical decision-making for pets with terminal or chronic GI diseases, urinary tract diseases, and intracranial diseases and share tools to guide clients through difficult end-of-life decisions with grace and confidence. Lastly, we'll cover protocols and compassionate tips for peaceful euthanasias. You'll leave feeling renewed optimism and peace to provide the compassionate, effective care all pets deserve in their twilight years.
