Tracking # 20-427476
Course overview
TMR for TOTS LEVEL 2 - OUTLINE: -Review of the objectives of Tots and the concepts of contralateral lengthening and structural balance as the foundation for motor control -Review, Demonstrate & Practice finding and Functional Issue -Learn how to identify objective data to track progress -Review using the out a FAB 6 From on Self in a variety of postures or transitions -Review Sequence of Treatment and Rules to Wellness -Learn about Hinges & Lines of Tension in multiple dimensions -Learn about Freedom Concept (focus on visible Optional) -Learn more Optional motions -Review & Practice Plus 2 weight bearing exercise -Review Modified FAB 6 (Super 6) -Learn about Lines of Tension in multiple dimensions -Learn how to use the Vision form -Review most commonly used motions (why and when) -Learn more advanced Tweaks (variables to accelerate progress) -Explore how to Modify Motions to improve compliance and comfort and results -Participants will have opportunities to practice these techniques on dolls with restrictions and partners -Review -Torticollis and learn how to treat S curves and the importance of total correction -Learn about Total Tort and how to treat the entire body -Learn how to use TMR to develop Motor Control with concepts of Circle of Control, Clutter, build on what the child can successfully perform -Learn how to apply Task Analysis - How each color e!ects ability to develop care plan to achieve skill -Explore how to have fun with handling challenging children, using equipment and modifying activities to incorporate in play and daily routines -Discuss challenging cases -Learn to use the entire body for Total motion with Flow and Fire Goals and Objectives ¿ at the end of the course the participant will be able to : 1. Demonstrate your pre-course understanding of how to fill out the FAB 6 2. Demonstrate your pre-course understanding of the sequence of treatment 3. Demonstrate the tweaks taught in Tots 1 4. List 3 additional tweaks added during Tots 2 to accelerate progress 5. Describe how when you might move from Phase 1 to 2 to 3 6. Evaluate a functional issue in a partner and describe functional issue 7. Develop a plan to treat your partner for identified issue 8. Demonstrate 5 modified motions and explain how di!erence in position e!ects total body mobility and function 9. Be able to demonstrate how to assist with FAB6 plus 2 motions in patients of varied heights and sizes and levels of participation 10. Be able to explain to partner the e!ect of lines of tension and chunking in 2 motions on a doll and relate this to functional issues 11. Observe partner during 2 transitions and be able list easy and hard sides used 12. Be able to explain Task Analysis to justify sequence of home instruction and develop a plan of care 13. Be able to explain the degrees of upper and lower tort 14. Demonstrate the progression from quiet localized TMR to active Total Motion.
