Course overview

This course explores harm reduction principles and ethical considerations for clinicians whose clients disclose psychedelic use outside of therapeutic settings. Participants will develop skills to provide nonjudgmental, evidence-informed support while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries and scope of practice. The curriculum addresses risk assessment, client education on safety practices, and ethical decision-making when navigating disclosures of non-clinical psychedelic use. Clinicians will gain practical frameworks for balancing client autonomy, harm reduction, and professional responsibility in these complex situations.
