This 4-hour online course is designed for physical therapists, athletic trainers, chiropractors, and other rehabilitation professionals seeking to incorporate breathwork into clinical practice. Participants will explore the science of breathing, the relationship between breathing patterns and the autonomic nervous system, and the role of breathwork in rehabilitation, recovery, and performance. The course includes instruction on breathing assessment techniques, diaphragmatic breathing, paced breathing strategies such as Box Breathing, and practical methods for integrating breathwork into patient care. Special attention is given to the use of the Spinefitter as a rehabilitation tool to improve thoracic mobility, postural awareness, rib cage expansion, relaxation, and breathing mechanics.
