This 90-minute introductory presentation provides an overview of the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model, an evidence-based approach to understanding the mind as a system of distinct "parts" led by the core Self. Participants will learn the foundational concepts of IFS, explore how protective and wounded parts influence thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and gain practical insights into fostering greater self-awareness, compassion, and emotional well-being. The session includes teaching, discussion, and experiential exercises, making it appropriate for both professionals and individuals interested in personal growth. Application to couples and family systems will be explored as well.
