Course overview

Evaluate the reliability and clinical utility of sacroiliac joint mobility tests and explain their current limitations in clinical practice. Describe the diagnostic accuracy of clusters of pain provocation tests for identifying sacroiliac joint pain and interpret their clinical significance in ruling in or ruling out SIJ involvement. Identify the most diagnostically useful clinical and imaging tests for differentiating disc, sacroiliac joint, and facet joint as sources of low back pain. Summarize the current evidence supporting manual therapy for sacroiliac joint pain syndrome and apply findings to clinical decision-making for treatment selection.
