*Identify the primary categories of acupuncture tools, including filiform needles, semi-permanent needles, lancets for bleeding therapy, and direct and indirect moxa. *Demonstrate clean needle technique by setting up a clean field with single-use pre-sterilized needles, alcohol prep pads, and proper biohazard disposal. *Recognize common patient risks such as bruising, soreness, needle sickness, and stuck needles, and describe provider precautions against needle-stick exposure. *Apply cautions and contraindications for pregnant, elderly, diabetic, and medicated patients when integrating acupuncture modalities, room setup, and intake forms into clinical practice.
