Course overview

*Identify the safety foundations of Clean Needle Technique and the regional, palpation-based approach used in chiropractic acupuncture. *Describe how classical distal point combinations such as LI4-ST36, LI4-LV3, and SI3-BL62 open anterior, internal, and posterior body zones. *Demonstrate proper insertion and de qi elicitation at LI4, LU7, SJ5, and PC6 for treating head, neck, and lateral complaints. *Apply correct needling angles and depths for ST36, LV3, GB41, and BL62 as zone-opening distal leg points. *Locate GB26 on the dai mai and describe head and face points including GB14, GB8, yu yao, and taiyang for facial and post-stroke conditions. *Identify ST2-ST7, LI20, bitong, and SI18 for treating sinus, jaw, and TMJ complaints using palpation landmarks. *Recognize the qualities of true de qi and demonstrate safe angled insertion of periorbital points such as BL1, BL2, yu yao, and SJ23. *Describe the indications and contraindications for needling SI3, GB20, Du14, and GB21, including pregnancy and lung apex precautions. *Apply classical shoulder point selection using LI14, LI15, SJ14, and Dr. So's alternate LI15 before adding trigger points. *Demonstrate needling of LI11, SI8, SJ10, wrist-crease points, and ba xie for elbow, wrist, carpal tunnel, and hand conditions. *Explain how the bladder line, Du channel, hua tuo jiaji points, and BL23 structure a safe and effective lumbar treatment strategy. *Apply hip, knee, and foot point protocols including GB30, GB34, ST35, eyes of the knee, and ST36 while avoiding deep organ penetration at KD16.
