*Identify thoracic surface landmarks, lung lobes, and fissures essential for accurate percussion and auscultation within the intercostal spaces. *Describe key components of a respiratory history and inspection findings, including pack-year calculation, chest shape, and accessory muscle use. *Apply palpation, tactile fremitus, and percussion techniques to detect tracheal deviation, consolidation, effusion, pneumothorax, and atelectasis. *Differentiate normal breath sounds from adventitious sounds such as crackles, wheezes, rhonchi, stridor, and pleural friction rubs during auscultation.
