This webinar will offer viewers an introduction to the Protective Factors framework, including a foundational understanding of protective factors and their role in supporting youth, families, and system outcomes. Our speakers will explore a strengths-based approach that focuses on building upon what is working well for justice-involved youth, and how protective factors can be recognized and reinforced. Several key topics will be addressed, including: A foundational understanding of the Protective Factors framework and its core concepts. Examples protective factors within juvenile justice settings. Ways a strengths-based approach can be applied through everyday interactions and decision-making within the roles of juvenile justice staff and service providers.
