Course overview
Some nurses lack education on resurging and emerging infectious diseases. Educating nurses on these diseases improves their assessment skills in order to provide better care to their patients. This program discusses resurging and emerging infectious diseases. Topics include the clinical manifestations associated with emerging infectious conditions, management priorities, and plans of care, including isolation and precaution techniques when infectious diseases are a diagnosis or differential diagnosis.
