Course overview
Digital healthcare, especially virtual health, has changed nurses' jobs and skills. In the evolving healthcare landscape, nurses' healthcare landscape is increasingly required to have diverse competencies to navigate the world of virtual health effectively. With these rapid changes in healthcare and the shortage of healthcare professionals in rural areas, new and innovative delivery methods are being developed and implemented to help fill those needs. Nurses must gain knowledge of these delivery methods to ensure best patient outcomes. This program discusses remote nursing, with topics including benefits and challenges of remote patient monitoring (RPM), communication, technology, and workflow strategies around remote nursing and RPM, case examples, and future implications of remote nursing.
