This session takes a practical evidence based approach from stabilization to ongoing care. Well cover underlying causes systemic consequences and clinical decision making including cardiovascular assessment management of hyperkalemia and acid base disturbances fluid therapy and analgesia. Procedural techniques such as decompressive cystocentesis urinary catheterization troubleshooting and short term catheter care will be reviewed along with current medication strategies.
