Course overview

Michigan real estate licensees operate within a regulatory framework established and enforced by the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA). Understanding how that framework functions from initial licensure through complaint resolution is essential knowledge for any professional committed to ethical, compliant practice. This two-hour session features LARA representatives who will talk attendees through high level understandings of stages of the regulatory process, including how licenses are issued, how complaints are received and investigated, how cases are closed, and the steps of the disciplinary process. A moderated question-and-answer period will follow the presentations.
