This course provides a comprehensive training designed to meet the mandated requirements under MA Chapter 260 for licensed professionals on domestic and sexual violence (DV/SV). Participants will learn to identify abuse patterns, emotional and physical effects on survivors, and the importance of trauma-informed care. By the end of this course, participants will be able to identify the immediate and long-term health effects associated with domestic and sexual violence (DV/SV), including common physiological and emotional symptoms. Participants will analyze best practices for screening and apply strategies for providing support.
