This course is limited to 10 veterinarians and will have 2 instructors to optimize the instructor to attendee ratio. The goal of this course is to help you understand when teeth need to be extracted and to be comfortable with extracting any tooth in the cat's mouth. Worried about breaking the jaw when you extract a mandibular canine? Struggling with broken roots or teeth with resorptive lesions? We have tips and tricks to build your confidence and efficiency. There will be 4 hours of lecture time that will include the awake and anesthetized oral exam, interpretation of dental radiographs, and basic and advanced extraction techniques. During the 4-hour afternoon laboratory session, an instructor will demonstrate each extraction technique. Every participant will have their own cadaver head and workstation. Surgical loupes will be provided, or you may bring your own
