Despite overall declines in U.S. veterinary visits, feline care continues to grow, with rising cat adoptions and increasing clinical visits. Yet cats remain one of the most underserved patient populations, often due to the stress and anxiety associated with veterinary visits. This webinar presents a practical, evidence-based approach to improving both the feline exam experience and caregiver satisfaction through the principles of Cat Friendly Practice. Attendees will gain insight into the physiologic and emotional effects of stress in cats, the influence of the clinical environment on behavior, and how caregiver perception impacts compliance. With a focus on creating a feline friendly clinic environment, adopting feline-specific handling techniques, and navigating the expanding options of products licensed for cats, this session equips veterinary professionals to reduce fear, improve diagnostic accuracy, and foster stronger client relationships. The result is a calmer, more compassionate approach to feline care that supports increased visits, better preventive medicine, and earlier disease detection.
