Course overview

This course introduces physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology staff to telehealth in outpatient settings. It covers telehealth delivery models, technology and regulatory requirements, and legal, ethical, and privacy considerations. Participants will learn how to determine appropriate patient selection and implement telehealth effectively, including session preparation, safety, adapting assessment and intervention, and using hybrid care models.
