Course overview

This highly interactive full-day discussion will consider a series of ethical issues that are associated with agency management and the provision of mental health services. We will begin by reviewing a pragmatic system for identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex ethical issues. We will continue by examining important concepts in leadership ethics, supervisory ethics, the allocation of scarce resources, and boundaries and dual relationships. We will accomplish all of this through the careful examination of practical case studies that are relevant to the core values and mission of the Mental Health and Recovery Services Board.
