Course overview

After completing this lesson, the student will be able to: understand the needs of aging and dependent individuals; understand basic human needs and development and how each impacts caregiving; understand human needs as we age; use Maslow?s Hierarchy of Needs to understand the clients? needs; identify development stages and perform associated tasks; and recognize changes that come with aging; Perform tasks surrounding preparation for death.
