CARE122 - The purpose of this course is to help learners to safely and effectively assist clients with elimination and toileting needs. Key concepts related to the digestive and urinary systems are discussed. Techniques for using assistive devices for toileting, client safety principles, specimen collection, and proper skin care after toileting are reviewed. A brief discussion of helping clients in special situations is provided.
