Introduction to Rural Nursing: The Center of Care for 60 Million Americans

Course overview

This 4 hour course provides evidence and strategies to help rural nurses, and those aspiring to create their nursing practice in a rural setting, to understand how they might help to close the gaps that create inequities in rural health. This introductory course provides information on the roles and responsibilities of rural nurses in five practice settings that are common across states, reservations, and island territories.
