1. Program Description (Abstract Overview): In this session with Dr. Julia, we will cover the ins and outs of managing canine allergies. From topical products to which oral or injectable is best for your patient to when to consider immunotherapy, you will leave this session confident in your approach to the ever-so-common atopic dog. 2. Learning Objectives: a. Recognize when topical therapy is beneficial and be able to council owners on how to use it effectively b. List all of the available treatments for canine atopy and why/when to use each c. Create a comprehensive treatment plan for environmentally allergic dogs d. Develop a streamlined approach to these cases including handouts and communication tid bits
