This Florida Veterinary Medical Association-sponsored webinar explores the unique challenges associated with diagnosing and managing dermatologic disease in cats. Feline skin disorders often present differently than those seen in dogs, requiring a species-specific approach to diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management. Participants will review the most common feline dermatologic conditions, including hypersensitivity dermatitis, eosinophilic granuloma complex, infectious skin diseases, immune-mediated disorders, and parasitic conditions. The course will emphasize practical diagnostic strategies, evidence-based treatment recommendations, and current and emerging therapies for feline allergic skin disease. Through clinical case examples and treatment discussions, attendees will gain confidence in developing effective management plans that improve patient comfort and quality of life.
