Course overview
This course equips professionals with an evidence-based, non-pathologizing understanding of how perimenopause and menopause interact with mental health, including common DSM-5 diagnoses and differential diagnosis. Participants will learn practical strategies for interprofessional collaboration and shared decision-making around hormonal and non-hormonal interventions, emphasizing health equity and culturally responsive, client-centered care for diverse groups. This course was designed for an interprofessional audience.
