This full-day experiential training is designed for therapists and helping professionals experiencing chronic stress, emotional fatigue, and the cumulative impact of sustained clinical attunement. Participants will explore the role of the nervous system in clinical presence, burnout, and ethical decision-making, while engaging in somatic and mindfulness-based practices that support embodied self-regulation. Topics include: Therapist burnout and chronic emotional labor Nervous system functioning and stress response patterns Somatic awareness and identification of physiological cues Experiential nervous system regulation practices (breathwork, grounding, movement) Ethical considerations related to impairment, competence, and self-monitoring Integration of somatic awareness into clinical practice This training integrates psychoeducation with direct experiential learning to support sustainable, ethical, and embodied clinical work.
