Course overview
Course Description: This two-hour online course provides massage therapists with practical instruction in infection prevention and sanitation. Topics include the chain of infection, hand hygiene, preventing cross-contamination, cleaning and disinfecting massage tables and equipment, safely handling linens and massage products, facility sanitation, Florida massage establishment requirements, and appropriate responses to contamination or exposure incidents. Students must pass a 20-question final examination with a minimum score of 80 percent.
