Course overview

The CBTp & Family Systems Project ECHO Program provides community-based clinicians with ongoing access to information regarding the implementation of the following: 1.) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Psychosis (CBTp) and 2.) CBTp-informed family systems interventions. This educational program follows the Project ECHO model developed by The University of New Mexico, which involves disseminating evidence-based practices across a geographically distributed community of providers. On a monthly basis, participants receive didactic instruction in CBTp/family system-related topics that reinforce foundational skills for working with people impacted by schizophrenia and other psychosis-related conditions. Following the didactic portion, an affiliated clinician or team presents a relevant and complex case to the community and receives feedback/recommendations from BeST Center experts and their professional peers.
