Therapeutic Peptides for Practitioners is an evidence-informed continuing education course designed to provide healthcare and wellness professionals with a foundational understanding of peptide science, cellular signaling, safety considerations and responsible clinical application. As peptides become more widely discussed in areas such as metabolism, recovery, body composition, inflammation, gut health, cognition, immune support, and healthy aging, practitioners need a clearer and more defensible framework for understanding what peptides are, how they function, and where they may fit within modern healthcare conversations. This course introduces peptides as biologically active signaling molecules that influence communication throughout the brain and body. Participants will explore the role of cellular signaling in recovery, tissue repair, metabolic regulation, mitochondrial function, nervous system balance, endocrine communication, and physiological resilience. The course also examines how factors such as chronic stress, inflammation, poor sleep, ultra-processed foods, medications, and toxic burden may impair signaling and contribute to dysfunction.
