Course overview

This self-paced online course introduces rehabilitation professionals to the Pentamodal Method, an evidence-informed framework that integrates local dry needling, perineural needling, fascial needling, primary passive trigger point treatment, and central stimulation concepts into a comprehensive clinical approach. Participants will explore the neurophysiological, fascial, and systemic mechanisms underlying pain and dysfunction, and examine how different dry needling applications affect local tissues, peripheral nerves, the autonomic nervous system, and central pain processing. Through six modules, learners will develop an understanding of the Pentamodal Method's theoretical foundations, clinical rationale, and practical application to support whole-person assessment and treatment strategies for patients with musculoskeletal pain and movement dysfunction. This course is intended for licensed healthcare professionals involved in the evaluation and management of neuromusculoskeletal conditions.
